Debra Strougo is a fitness instructor and health enthusiast born and raised in Manhattan, NY. Debra teaches regularly at Crunch and Equinox Gyms in NYC. She has also held classes at NYSC, NYHR, Synergy, World Gym, Chelsea Piers, and the 92nd Street Y over the years. Debra has been a guest instructor at Shecky’s Hamptons House, Summerkicks in East Hampton, Club Med Village at Turks & Caicos, and Allegro Resorts in Aruba.

Debra has participated in 6 fitness videos to date. They are: Self Magazine’s Bikini Ready Fast May 2005, Self Magazine’s Firm Flat Abs Fast May 2005, Self Magazine Butt Summer 2005, Self Magazine Abs Winter 2006, Crunch Chisel Spring 2005, Crunch Hard Core Spring 2005.
Debra also recently starred as Special Agent Jo Strong in a video/dvd game that was launched with MTV personality Eric Neis as the key spokesperson.   Escape from Obeez City targets children and teaches them about the “bad guys” in their bodies and will deter childhood obesity through “sleuth education”.

Debra has done Fitness Demonstrations for Fox 5 Good Day New York (2 segments), and the WB 11 (6 segments). She also participated in the Fitness Quest EZ- Glider Infomercial which aired nationally. Her Rebounding class was taped for a segment of Buff Brides which began airing in February 2004 and is still airing sporadically on Discovery Health and Fit TV. Additionally, Debra has been interviewed on NY1’s health and fitness report.
